Harper {3 Years}

I got to take pictures of the cutest girl and her beautiful mommy last week to celebrate her turning three. Ashton was my very first friend. I have many great memories running up the street next to mine to play with Ashton. It was so fun taking pictures of her and her sweet girl. Harper made this super easy. She was very into it - which is not the case for most three year olds.

These were taken at the East Texas Arboretum here in Athens. This was my first time taking pictures here and it was a great setting. I loved getting to take pictures with the old house on the property that my dad moved there.

I am so excited to share a few of my favorite pictures from our photoshoot with Amy of Amylu photography. Our sweet Lucy was 11 days old in these pictures.

I have dreamed of a picture of my baby surrounded by fresh flowers before we even knew about her. My mom did an amazing job with the flowers and Amy captured them perfectly.

Books & Bloom 2015

My husband and I moved back to Athens a few weeks ago to be closer to our families. In January when our families learned about us moving back, Byron's aunt asked me to host a table at the local library fundraiser, Books and Bloom.

I didn't spend much time prepping for my table since we were still unpacking from our move. I collected some things that we used at our wedding and bought a few new items to mix in. I wanted my table to go with the theme of the fundraiser - books & blooms. My favorite part of the table was the old books that are cut out to spell READ (you can find similar ones here). I used some colorful library cards with everyone's name stamped on them as place tags.

It was a lot of fun putting this table together. This fundraiser is a really big event in Athens with over 400 attendees. That is a lot for this small town! It was cool walking around and looking at all the decorated tables.
