{Easter} Tea Cake Cookies

I cannot believe Easter is this Sunday. We have a busy week celebrating holy week and our girl will be two this week! I have anticipated Easter more this year than ever before. I have really been reading scripture more this Easter season and it has been such a blessing. I have been going through this scripture plan and it has been such a gift seeing all the fulfilled promises in the Bible. 

My mom has made decorated tea cake cookies for as long as I can remember. When I was little I would always help her put the sprinkles on them and as I got older I learned how to decorate them too. I can't wait until my girl gets older and we can make them together (right now she just has the eating them down).

This tea cake recipe is a great recipe to make decorated cookies because they roll out very nicely and bake pretty flat. If you have any questions leave me a comment. I always just use royal icing to decorate them.

Wooden Watch: A Unique Valentine's Gift

My husband has never been big on celebrating Valentine's Day. We usually agree to not exchange gifts but then he still gets me a little something.
